The North Meadow Recreation Center project involved planning
the design of the adaptive reuse of an historic park structure in
New York City's Central Park. Previously used as a utility building,
the new center addresses program needs for children's recreational
and educational activities, a fitness center, visitor's information,
and food concession amenities, as well as administration offices for
maintenance staff and park security.
This project was completed in 1999 for the Central Park Conservancy. |
